Enjoyed the book, fun characters and a quick read. I love that the author didn't use 500 words to describe the surroundings and things they wore, etc. Looking forward to the next one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fantasy book for kids
March 7, 2018
This is an easy read suitable for kids about 10-14. I felt that too much of the plot was given away by the narrator in the first few chapters of the book, but the story is interesting. I did find a few typos and errorsin the book, as well. The story is about a 9-year-old girl sent off on a dangerous adventure, alone, to fulfill her birthright and destiny. She makes some unlikely, magical friends along the way. All-in-all, it would make a decent book for kids for spring break or summer reading.

This book was designed as a fantasy adventure for middle grade readers. With an unlikely heroine sent on a great adventure in order to save her world. She meets character along the way who help her to fulfill her destiny. Over all it was a cute easy read but I found it a tad bit predictable. For younger readers this may be better
